I am undertaking a practice PhD at the Animation Academy, Loughborough University. I'm halfway through and due to complete (hopefully) summer 2010. My research is to investigate the animated public information film from the Second World War to the present day. Questioning if animation, which is closely associated with light entertainment and comedy can portray messages of importance.

Part my research is to produce a number of short animated information films which I am currently working on. Not able to put up too much as I'm scriptwriting and designing, but some sketches are included in other pages. Will be able to put up more material over the summer as I will be filming then.
